Vuela is a soaring reminder that love and courage make all things possible, and that the ones we carry in our hearts are always with us, helping us fly.
One Way Ticket -
The film explores the emotional weight of leaving home, the uncertainty, anxiety, and quiet tenderness that come with stepping into the unknown. While inspired by my own experience moving to another country, the film was designed to be universal, using abstract visuals and the absence of defined characters to invite personal interpretation. Sound plays a key role in shaping the tone, including a personal voice message from my mother that adds a quiet, emotional anchor to the piece.
COLLABORATIVE FILMS
Tied -
Drawing inspiration from Dermont Bolger’s “The Dancers in a Wicklow Field” poem, our piece delves into the theme of "Connection". It follows the evolving bond between three dancers, exploring their journey from mere partners to close friends. Through their shared experiences, it delves into themes of belonging, companionship, and personal growth, paying homage to the transformative power of friendship.
Cornflake -
Cornflake is a collaborative stop-motion short about a determined hen guarding her precious egg. Blending charm and craft, the project brought together 3D-printed character structures, Dragonframe animation, and After Effects post-production to create a lively, hand-crafted world. The experience was both playful and creative, capturing the joy of teamwork and the tactile magic of stop-motion storytelling.
